Easter Capers at Pacific Coast

Pacific Coast News

Despite the atrocious weather and surface flooding Cyclone Cook brought to the Bay on Thursday 13th April, residents in the village were determined to proceed with their planned Easter Weekend social event.  Fortunately, Good Friday dawned bright and sunny and a last-minute email was dispatched to remind potential attendees to assemble at the Summerhouse for Happy Hour at the usual time.

About 30 residents responded including three “life-size bunnies” each carrying a basket of Easter eggs to give out.  Then it was time for the main event of the evening - the Easter Egg hunt.  Much hilarity ensued as everyone searched the Summer House high and low for hidden eggs.  For those who really looked hard, they discovered that the Easter Bunny had been busy hiding eggs around the village and not just in the Summerhouse.

A great night was enjoyed by all.
